Application and Structure of Quick Connector
Quick connector is a kind of tool which can realize pipeline connection or disconnection without tools. It is a common tool in many pipeline construction or maintenance. Fast connectors have the functions of exchange, maintenance, testing, conveying, filling and connection. According to their different uses, they are commonly classified as follows:
1. Geka Fast Connector
“Geka” joint is specially designed for low-pressure water pipes. It is specially designed for fast joints of sprinkler hoses such as horticulture and irrigation.
There is no male or female head in Geka Fast Joint, which is composed of left and right symmetrical “claw” structure. Relying on high-pressure tubing rubber gasket for sealing. The tail zigzag design greatly improves the friction of the connection with the water pipe, and the design is simple and durable.
2. Fast tie-rod joint
Suitable for fast connection of various fluid soft and hard pipes, which is composed of internal and external threads and female head parts. Material selection is wide, reinforced aluminium alloy, copper alloy, stainless steel, nylon plastic and so on, which are widely used in the field of chemical transportation in petrochemical industry.
The pull rod type quick connector is divided into the common head and the mother head. The male head is curved and fitted into the mother head, with gaskets at the bottom of the mother head. Rely on lifting or pressing the handles on both sides of the mother head. The male head is extruded and fixed on the gasket of the hydraulic joint to form a seal.
3. Special Fast Connector for Tank Truck
Special fast connectors, threaded connectors and fixtures are made entirely according to foreign tank trucks and container trucks. Used at the end of tank truck oil pipeline. Because of its simple and rapid operation design and zero leakage rate stability, tank truck series joints have been popular in European market for more than 50 or 60 years.
